| Qingpu
District comprises 9 towns of Zhujiajiao Town, Zhaoxiang Town,
Xujing Town, Huaxin Town, Chonggu Town, Baihe Town, Zhaotun Town,
Liantang Town and Jinze Town, and 2 sub-district offices of Xiayang
and Yingpu. It covers a total area of 675.1 square kilometers, of
which 112.46 square kilometers, i.e. 16.65 %, are water areas. To
the northwest there lies Dingshanhu Lake which is 62 square
kilometers in area with 47.5 square kilometers, i.e. 76.6 %, inside
the boundaries of Qingpu District and the rest inside the boundaries
of Kunshan city. The whole district has 27,305 hectares of
cultivated land. |
