The breaking ground marks substantial start-up of supporting facilities of Hongqiao comprehensive transportation hub. The construction of Xu Jing Station has attracted the largest investment since the establishment of China in terms of infrastructure transportation construction. The accomplishment of the project will not only greatly improve outbound traffic of our district, facilitate transportation of the citizens, but also play the role of leader and model to develop and advance modern service industy in the east part of Qingpu District, serve the Yangtze Delta and China as well as pioneer a new urban business space for Shanghai, which is of greater significance.
