It is learnt that the cooperation between the Government and China Mobile Shanghai has witnessed a long history. Since December 2006 when the two parties signed the "Frame Agreement on Strategic Cooperation in Joint Promotion for Information Construction in Qingpu New Suburb and Countryside", the Government has always been vigorously supporting "China Mobile Shanghai" to speed up informationization fundamental construction and diversification. In 2007, customers of China Mobile Shanghai who live in Qingpu District amounted to 824, 000 households with the operation revenue of RMB568 million, and both witnessed a dramatic increase year on year. In 2007, the Government continued to actively support and cooperate with China Mobile Shanghai for its TD-SCDMA network construction in Qingpu, which made it possible for pre-commercial trial of TD-SCDMA on April 1. With the joint efforts of the two parties, the cooperation relationship of the two tends to be more stable, and the economic and social information application ability is improving unceasingly.
