| Qingpu's import and export
trading saw a growing momentum this year, with remarkable growth in
electronic information and precision electromechanical products.
Qingpu's import and export sum from January to April reached
US$3.456billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.53%. Among them, the
export sum reached US$2.032 billion, up by 16.44% year on year; and
the import sum hit US$1.424 billion, up by 11.9% year on year.
In terms of the types of trading, general trading export reached
US$0.881 billion, a year-on-year increase of 19.25%; processing
trade hit US$1.151 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.4%. In
terms of the four pillar industries, the export for electronic
information products at US$0.598 billion, increased by 18.5% year on
year; the modern textiles export at US$0.165 billion, decreased by
0.94% year on year; the precision electromechanical products export
hit US$0.373 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.75%; the print
media products export was 4.38 million, a year-on-year decrease of
3.81%.
