| Statistics show that
Qingpu's hi-tech enterprises have realized an output value of
RMB15.36 billion, with a year-on-year increase of 18.9%, 2.4
percentage points higher than the same period of last year, or up
2.3 percentage points from the District level, adding 5.6 percentage
points to the economic growth of large-scale enterprises.
The four major hi-tech enterprises, engaged in electronic
information, bio-medicine technique, electro-optical integration and
new materials, seized an output value of RMB2.94 billion, RMB0.29
billion, RMB6.93 billion and RMB5.21 billion, respectively. Among
them, the electro-optical integration is the backbone of the hi-tech
industry, accounting for 45.1% of the total, up 32.5% from the same
period of last year, with a contribution rate of 69.7% in the
industry.
