  • “Lu Shoujun’s Career in Film and TV Literature” Exhibition Kicks off at Qingpu Museum
  • On the afternoon of August 29, the book-releasing ceremony for "Personal Collected Works of Lu Shoujun" and the donation ceremony for Mr. Lu Shoujun’s personal file was held at Qingpu Museum, thus kicking off the “Lu Shoujun’s Career in Film and TV Literature” art exhibition.

    Jiang Daorong, standing member of the district Party committee and director of the publicity department, attended the ceremony to congratulate on the publication of the book, and cut the ribbon for the exhibition.

    In his speech, Jiang spoke highly of Mr. Lu’s artistic character of professional excellence and moral integrity and support for the cultural development in Qingpu as well as the nobility of donating the personal works, manuscripts and historical photographs. He hoped that all sectors of the community could pay attention to the cultural undertakings in Qingpu and boost the construction of the green Qingpu, an ideal district.

    Since ancient times, Qingpu has been a place with excellent resources and talents as well as the emergence of countless outstanding figures, among whom Mr. Lu is a prominent representatives. Lu was born in the ancient town of Zhujiajiao, graduated from the Shanghai Film Academy in 1963, and then engaged in editing and creation of film and TV literature at Shanghai Film Studio for a long time. Closely following the life, the people and the pulse of the times, he created dozens of popular film and television masterpieces such as the "Mysterious Buddha", "Smile in Candlelight" and “Wolf Hunting Life” as well as a large number of vivid film and TV characters. As a high-yield and high-quality playwright recognized in the film industry, he has won the Five “One” Project Award, Golden Rooster Award, Tongniu Award and other national awards.

    The “Lu Shoujun’s Career in Film and TV Literature” exhibition will be held at Qingpu Museum until September 20. The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge, with Mr. Lu's manuscripts, film and television works, posters, letters and reading notes and personal collection of books and the newly published personal collection of works and so on to be exhibited. The exhibition has been designed to sum up Lu’s achievements in film and television literature, praise his pure heart, publicize the cultural attraction of Qingpu, enrich the cultural contents for the Green Qingpu and showcase the good social trends and the spirit and image of ideal district.
