This activity took advantage of the demonstration area’s construction, in response to the 2017 Shanghai Tourism Festival themed “Meeting on One Belt and One Road”, the 2017 Shanghai Dianshan Lake Tourism Festival and the comprehensive eco-environment regulation work themed “five violations and four musts”, based on the regional cultural tourism resources, attached importance to perceiving the “water culture, agri-culture and modern technology culture” of Qingpu and invited villagers of the “Zero-Violation Villages” to the free tour. It organized them to experience the elegant natural and humanity views of the hometown, huge changes taking place here, civilized practices of society, the comprehensive regulation work in Qingpu and the achievements it brought to the new round of economic development through hiking in the countryside park and appreciating traditional folk customs.

Recently, 300 villages across the district were all included in the construction scope. 240 of them applied for the construction and received sub-district and township-level acceptance, accounting for 80% of the total number while 137 passed the district-level double check and acceptance. There stood out ten benchmark villages including Zhongbu Village of Zhaoxiang Town and Xuyao Village of Chonggu Town and the urban and rural areas took on a brand new look.
