The first China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) from November 5 to 10. With the total construction area of nearly 1.5 million square meters, the NECC is the largest construction monomer for exhibitions in the world by now. Consisted of exhibition stadiums, commercial centers, office buildings and hotels, it is linked by a convention avenue with 8 meters elevation, helping visitors to pass through conveniently.
The NECC embraces 500,000-square-meter exhibition areas, with 400,000 square meters for indoor exhibition halls and 100,000 million square meters for the outdoor. The indoor part consists of 13 large exhibition halls with each one covering 30,000 square meters; the outdoor part consists of 3 small ones with each one covering 10,000 square meters, thus enable trucks to drive into exhibition halls directly. All the exhibition halls are equipped with complete facilities for meeting around, with over 60 different-sized meeting rooms.
Located at the west Hongqiao business core of Qingpu, the NECC is in straight-line distance of 1.5 km with Hongqiao transportation hub, closely connecting with the Hongqiao Railway Station and the Hongqiao International Airport via metro lines. With expressways leading toward all directions, it is quite convenient to arrive in key cities around the Yangtze River Delta within 2 hours.
By now, all relevant authorities are actively preparing to ensure the CIIE to be smoothly convened.
