The 15th Qingpu District Future Engineers Competition has been recently launched at North Chengzhong Road Campus of the Qingpu District Youth Activity Center, which attracted more than 200 primary and middle school students in the district.
With an aim to stimulate the interest of teenagers in engineering technologies and cultivate their ability of innovative practice, the Competition guides students to use what they learn, integrates knowledge and technologies in different disciplines to solve problems, and erect the sense of teamwork.
The participants fully showed what they have learned and studied in such interesting projects as the “bionic electric model”, the “F1 robot racing”, the “structure engineer” and the “creative commemorative badge”.
The Competition adopted competition, display, and speech and other modes. The participating students covered primary schools, secondary schools and high schools. Involving machinery, electronics, computer control and industrial design and others, the Competition, in the form of propositional creation, guided students to ponder over questions like engineers, give solutions, and pursues better goals with higher quality upon constant experiments, feedbacks and iterations, thus achieving their self-perfection.
