As the leading enterprise in Shanghai ranking in the world top 500 multinational enterprises, Greenland has signed agreements with 12 countries and purchased commodities about USD1.5 billion during the CIIE. 6 days later, Greenland will accurately connect with the upstream and downstream through such measures as building a permanent trading platform, improving channels of import supply chain, upgrading the end of bricks-and-mortar retails and making layout in key areas of the country, and will open up new import channels, aiming to better help our country to expand imports and meet the increasing needs of consumers.
In order to expand the procurement cooperation and better undertake the spillover effects, Greenland upholds imports and retails simultaneously, with the omni-channel and permanent import trading service platform and the retail system with nationwide layout maturing day by day. As for the imports, the Hub has achieved the first step of “purchasing global products”, because it involves the imported commodities from 112 enterprises in 41 countries, including food, electrical appliances, cosmetics, cars and other categories. Greenland will provide the one-stop well-rounded services for customers, such as customs clearance, logistics distribution, processing and warehousing, commodity distribution, and supply-demand docking, so as to open up a new and efficient import trading channel for overseas enterprises and to build the Hub into a national cluster and debut place for new products and on-trend products on the world. As for the retails, Greenland will rely on nationwide supermarket stores and online platforms to bring consumers fresh and high-quality imported goods, thus achieving to “selling global products”.
