TRANSPORTATION
DIRECTORY
 Qingpu District
is 40 km away from downtown Shanghai. The 318 State
Highway (Shanghai to Xizang) and Hu-Qing-Ping Highway
(Qingpu in Shanghai to Pingwang in Jiangsu) run through
the district from east to west. Transportation
in its surrounding areas is also well developed. In its south is
the 99-km Shanghai-Hangzhou Freeway and in its north is
the 270-km Shanghai-Nanjing Freeway. The Tong-San
State Highway (Tongjiang in Helongjiang to Sanya in
Hainan) runs through the district from south to
north. The
two international airports of Hongqiao and Pudong
connect Shanghai with different places in the
world.
Therefore, Qingpu District is easily accessible
by air and land.
It takes 40 minutes
to drive from Shanghai Railway Station to Qingpu
District in a distance of 40 km, passing through
Hengfeng Road, Hutai Road, turning to the Inner-ring
Viaduct and then on Hu-Qing-Ping Expressway to Qingpu.
Leaving Shanghai
Hongqiao International Airport, it takes 20 minutes to
drive in a distance of 30 km, passing through the
Outer-ring Viaduct and then on Hu-Qing-Ping
Express way to
Qingpu.
Leaving Shanghai
Pudong International Airport, it takes around 1 hour to
drive in a distance of 78 km, passing through Xupu
Bridge, turning on the Outer-ring Viaduct and then on
Hu-Qing-Ping Expressway to
Qingpu.
